Our Love Story
We came together like two buzzing bees during a time of isolation (thanks Bumble!). We talked screenwriting and filmmaking over loose leaf tea, took leisurely walks along the waterfront, played frisbee, and sipped dry Spanish wine beneath the spruce trees in High Park. Ben impressed with his cauliflower pizza culinary skills and Lily shared her passion for bike rides around the city (and beyond!)...
We quickly bonded over our love for adventure, and a few short months later we went on our first weekend away together in Tobermory, Ontario. In the years that followed, we moved in together, adopted our beloved puppy, Louis, travelled to New York, Paris and finally Hawaii, where Ben popped the question (on top of a mountain during a very muddy hike, naturally).
Lily's exact words were, "Of course".
Since then, we continue to fall more in love every day, as we tackle life's biggest and most exciting challenges together (including buying a 100 year old house, in need of a lot of TLC), and we are so grateful to have the love and support of our friends and family, as we embark on this new chapter of our lives together.

Lily and I have been best friends since we were 15! We took the 90 Leslie YRT bus together everyday in high school. We had so much fun while waiting for the bus and in the winter, slipping on the path to school that was never salted! Somehow we made it out alive haha. I can’t wait to watch my best friend walk down the aisle (luckily it won’t be winter)

Ben and Konrad met on the pool deck both wearing the same custom McMaster swim suits which they thought were only exclusive to them. As fate would have it they both were racing the 200IM. It doesn't matter who won the event but they have stayed competitors ever since.

I met Ben at McMaster University, where we spent most of our days swimming on the same team. Between daily training sessions, a mutual passion for punk/emo rock music, and our common nerdy interests, Ben and I became great friends. After graduating, our friendship continued to grow as we navigated to Toronto, proving that while times may change, true friendships never do!
